Love and Other Alien Concepts - An Adult Sci-Fi Romance Novel Coming October 24th, 2024
During Covid I wrote an 80,000 word first draft of my first Sci-Fi story with a rom-com vibe sub-plot. I just got finished the updates from my copy/line editor and sent it off to my proofreader/formatter! PR boxes are almost fully procured!
It's a sci fi romance adventure about an engineer in her late 30's who has all but given up on love because she is basically married to her job and she happens to like her mundane life the way it is. That is until she meets a very interesting man at the grocery store who has secrets that will change her life. She is about to go on the adventure of a lifetime as she experiences what the meaning of good and evil is and what makes us human.

This one is pretty top secret so far, but I've got my characters formulated and most of the beats planned out. The draft is sitting at about 20,000 words so far and I plan to draft through June while my sci-fi novel is with the editor.

I started the draft on this one last year and I have the basic plot planned out. I'll be using Kimberly Grymes' workbook to prep this one and plan to draft it during Nanowrimo this year!
